We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our doctrinal foundation. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God, the final authority for faith and life. We believe in one true and living God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in nature and glory.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return personally and visibly in glory. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates believers, indwells them, and empowers them for holy living and gospel witness.
We believe humanity was created in the image of God, male and female, but fell into sin through Adam, and that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, separated from God apart from grace. We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, bringing regeneration, justification, sanctification, and final glorification. We believe true believers are preserved by God’s power and will persevere to the end.
We believe the church is a local body of baptized believers under the Lordship of Christ, practicing believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, and led biblically by pastors/elders and deacons. We believe every believer is called to make disciples of all nations and to live faithfully under Christ’s authority in the church and the world.
We believe that God created humanity distinctly male and female, and that these two complementary genders reflect His created design and goodness. We affirm that marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman for life, instituted by God for His glory, the flourishing of the family, and the advance of His purposes. We hold that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone, and that husbands are called to loving, sacrificial leadership while wives are called to glad and respectful support, as taught in Scripture.
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead, that there will be a bodily resurrection and final judgment, eternal life in heaven for the redeemed, and eternal punishment for the unrepentant. We affirm religious liberty, biblical justice, faithful stewardship, and that the family is ordained by God as the foundational institution of human society for His glory.
